We believe in helping residents achieve and maintain their optimum level of physical and social well-being.
Our Resident Life Department is staffed by professionals who are available to assist residents and their families
with the utmost dignity and sympathetic concern.
In addition to serving the men and women in our care, the Department staff facilitate several monthly gatherings
to benefit family members, as well.
At our monthly Caregivers’ Support gathering, our Director of Resident Life and a psychologist hear people’s
concerns and offer suggestions to cope with the difficulties that rise when a loved one needs round-the-clock
care. It’s a good opportunity for socializing and sharing points of view with others in similar circumstances.
Hospice at Daughters of Sarah offers the attentive, sensitive end-of-life care that families and their loved ones need at this crucial time of life. Daughters of Sarah supports the religious and spiritual needs of persons in Hospice according to their wishes. People of all faiths are respected and welcome.
Our mission-driven Jewish environment assures the availability of Jewish religious observances and cultural preferences,
and kosher meals. Monthly Hospice Gatherings encourage family members to share feelings and receive support from staff
and other families going through similar experiences.
“Bridging” sessions help residents make the transition from
rehabilitation to functioning at their highest level.
